GOSSAMER GEAR Pack Jacket

Don't let an unexpected downpour slow you down. The Gossamer Gear Pack Jacket is an ultralight, purpose-built rain cover designed specifically for the Mariposa 60, Gorilla 50 and G4-20 backpacks. Its tailored fit stays securely in place while hiking and adds an extra layer of protection against rain, mud and wet vegetation on the trail.

Made from recycled 20D nylon mini ripstop, the Pack Jacket combines minimal weight with impressive durability. A silicone coating on the outer face sheds water, while the durable UTS backing adds strength and improves long-term resistance to wear. Factory-sealed seams further enhance weather protection when conditions turn wet.

Unlike loose-fitting universal rain covers, the Pack Jacket is shaped around compatible Gossamer Gear packs. A top security strap keeps the cover attached even when moving through rough terrain, while a bottom drainage opening lets any collected water escape instead of pooling inside the cover.

At just 82 g, it adds very little to your pack weight while providing practical protection when the forecast doesn't cooperate. Compact, lightweight and easy to deploy, it's a simple addition to your backpacking setup for everything from weekend hikes to long-distance trails.
